The Federation spends a considerable amount of time and expenses ensuring that
all its coaches have the latest qualifications and with up to date certificates. Ever increasing demands on organisations involved in contact with children and older teenagers groups must continually review that their house is in order and they comply with the with the very latest regulations. New PFAC recruits in particular must go through a comprehensive programme of courses to become fully qualified angling coaches.
Nigel Mayhew and Jim Anderson, two recent recruits have just completed a Child Safeguarding and Protection course and are now on the ladder to becoming members of an increasing group of highly qualified coaches.
